Originally from Youngstown, Ohio, Jacob Gossett has been living and working in New York City since 2001. He is currently pursuing a BFA from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. While primarily working as a painter, Jacob also works in various mediums including, sculpture, film and music. He is also the co–founder of Kollektiv magazine, a bi–annual publication that showcases emerging artists at Pratt Institute.
